Dear Parents,

Thank you for considering MGS as a possible school for your child. We would like to use this opportunity to explain our admissions process to you since we value your application and will strive to keep you informed at all times. The standard admission process is as follows:

After submission you will receive an email containing your PDF Application forms, Fee structure and uniform price, this form should be filled, please submit the documents at MGS Offices or via email or WhatsApp.

Your application is received and processed

You will be notified if your child’s name is on our waiting list or if your child needs to write our entrance assessment.

A booking for an assessment and/or tour will be confirmed.

After writing the assessment we will notify you in writing regarding the outcome of your application.

A possible interview for the scholar may take place with one of our academic staff members on the day the scholar writes his/her assessment or soon thereafter.

Should your child’s name be placed on a waiting list we will contact you. Our waiting list will only apply for the year you applied to join MGS

Taking into consideration public and school holidays. Please note that no application will be processed if we have not received all support documentation as well. The submitted information will be kept on file.

You will be requested to attach the following mandatory documents to this application:

Certified birth Certificate of scholar

ID Photo of scholar

Most recent school report card of scholar

Certified copy of ID - Parent responsible for paying school fees

Copy of medical aid card if applicable

Administration fee (R500) deposit slip

Resource Levy (R500) deposit slip

Registration fee (R600) deposit slip

When making payment please use this following refence: Name & surname of child Gr/year of entrance (e.g. John Smith 8/2025)

NOTE: Should you not be able to upload any of these documents please upload a letter of explanation for each outstanding document.
